This was our family’s second stay at this beautiful lake house, and it truly feels like a vacation every time. The peaceful lake views, fresh air, and cozy atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax. The layout is ideal for families or retreats, with open spaces and plenty of room for everyone. Every room is spotless, beautifully designed, and so comfortable. Our kids (ages 2, 5, and 8) loved the adorable bunk room and could play for hours in the sand by the water. The adults especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the fire pit overlooking the lake. We also loved the wonderful community, where morning walks were filled with warm smiles and friendly hellos. Rachel is an amazing host—kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Staying here truly feels like visiting a friend. We can’t wait to come back and make more memories by the lake. 💛🌅

Our stay was MAGNIFICENT! We had a family get together with 3 generations. The house was for the adults and kids, the Surf Shack was perfect for the grandparents. Everyone loved the place. I was impressed with everything but was most impressed by how stocked the house was. Rachel supplied shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, body wash, k-cups and creamer, paper plates and plastic silverware, universal chargers in each bedroom, beach towel besides regular towels, pods for the dishwasher, laundry detergent, various sizes of life jackets, beach toys, 2 kayaks, a grill, fire pit, volleyball net, a beverage cooler, lots of seating, a few floaties, small marshmallow roaster sticks, the common kitchen spices (such as onion salt, garlic powder, sugar, flour), and wifi IN ADDITION TO all of the typical stuff provided at an AirBNB. We plan on a return visit.
This “lake” is made out of an old sand harvesting quarry area so the bottom is course sand and does not have trouble with weeds! PERFECTION

We had a wonderful time at the lake. The house was wonderful and the little house was great for the grandparents to get away from the craziness. We enjoyed the beach backyard and quiet cove for the kids to get in the lake whenever they wanted. The small kids room won over my nephews and we loved the wall of cozies, solo cups, fridge space, kid amenities, and comfy beds. We would definitely stay again.

This was a great place for a large group. The lake and outdoor games kept everyone occupied and everyone had privacy and their own space while all still being able to stay together. Fantastic home!

The best "beach" vacation in the Midwest! Our kids had the absolute time of their life. From the kids room that was just their size to the ample sand and toys, they could not have wanted for more. Huge tub with jets made for great bath time. Finished each evening with some s'mores. Overall, such a fun coastal home with everything we could want for next year!

We enjoyed the lakeside location, all the beach toys, kayaks and floats . We also loved the proximity to the world class Henry Doorly Zoo, Children’s Museum and Botanical gardens. An ideal family reunion in Rachel’s beautiful home.

Never wanted to leave. The house had everything we needed to keep a bunch of boys entertained for 5 days. The almost didn’t even want to go to the college World Series. The lake and volleyball court were super fun and the kayaks got tons of use. The best part was also the responsiveness of Rachel. She did everything she could to make our stay memorable

This home was perfect for our annual multigenerational family vacation. We had eight adults and four children ranging in age from 76 years to 7 months, and the home accommodated all of us comfortably. It served as an ideal home base for exploring Omaha—everything we wanted to do was within about a 20-minute drive.
The house is exceptionally well-equipped for families with young children. The spacious closets easily fit pack-and-plays, which was a huge plus since we have three little ones still in cribs. The master bedrooms are large enough to fit an entire family of four, allowing each child to have a private, quiet sleeping area.
The Yellow Submarine room was a huge hit with our granddaughter—she absolutely loved it! It added a whimsical, fun touch that made her stay even more special.
The private beach and lake were phenomenal. We loved playing sand volleyball and made good use of the kayaks and grill provided—it was a highlight of our stay.
